Manchester United legend Gordon McQueen sadly passed away earlier this month after a battle with dementia.
The former Scotland international — winning 30 caps between 1974 and 1981 — was diagnosed with vascular dementia in early 2021.
McQueen, 6ft 3in, was among the outstanding central defenders of his era.
Manchester United have shared lovely tributes to McQueen on social media this morning since he would have celebrated his 71st birthday today.
On what would have been his 71st birthday, our thoughts remain with the loved ones of Gordon McQueen, who we recently lost.
