Manchester United’s Scott McTominay is almost single-handedly sending Scotland to the 2024 Euros.
Last night, the 26-year-old scored his fifth goal in four games for his nation. Previously, he netted two consecutive braces in the earlier stages of the tournament against Cyprus and Spain, with last night’s contribution coming against Georgia.
Scotland now boast a perfect record in their Euro qualifying run, having won all four games so far.
They sit atop Group A with an eight-point advantage over second-placed Georgia, so fans are already looking ahead to their involvement in next year’s competition.
