Manchester United’s teenage starlet Alejandro Garnacho rounded off his breakthrough club campaign with a pivotal international moment this week.
The 18-year-old made his senior debut for La Albiceleste during the second half of their clash with Australia, which they ultimately won 2-0.
His first-ever appearance for his national team comes after an emphatic campaign with the Red Devils, in which he was one standout performer in attack and off the bench during matches.
Garnacho now also boasts the fact that he has played and trained with two of the greatest players in the history of world football – Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. What better way to start your career in the senior game?

After donning the blue and white of the reigning world champions for the first time, the youngster took to Instagram to react to the landmark outing, and his words will certainly warm fans’ hearts.
He said: “And if this is just a dream, never wake me up. Beautiful.”
