Brandon Williams calls out Rio Ferdinand after Man City win Treble

Manchester United defender Brandon Williams is having none of Rio Ferdinand’s antics in front of the TV camera.

Man City beat Inter Milan 1-0 in the Champions League in Istanbul last night as they completed the Treble — becoming the second club to do so after Manchester United in 1999.

Brandon Williams, who came through the Academy at United, was quick to aim a dig at City on his Instagram story which read: “Nobody wants a sloppy seconds.”

Of course, United won the treble in 1999 without financial doping, so we did it without cheating. City currently have 115 charges hanging over their head but BT Sport didn’t feel the need to mention that last night.

Hmm, I wonder why?

Williams carried on his rant as he called out Ferdinand after seeing him compliment rival players.

The 22-year-old wrote: “@rioferdy5 Bet you don’t congratulate if you was [sic] player keeep [sic] the same morals. [Snoozing face emoji] too [sic] face is boring.”

He added the following in subsequent posts: “You don’t praise simple as. Fakesssssss for [money emoji].

“Attention on this than celebrating [laughing emojis]. Drawnnnnnnmmm (nibbleeeee).”

Brandon Williams is a top red!
