Victor Lindelof tops Premier League list for accurate passing

Victor Lindelof had a strong season as one of Erik ten Hag’s back-up defenders.

Overtaking Harry Maguire in the defensive pecking order, the captain of Sweden made 20 appearances in the Premier League, and finished the campaign in good form alongside Raphael Varane.

With the league season over for the summer, a range of statistics have been revealed by FBREF.com (H/t ManUtd.com) – and Lindelof tops the list for complete passes in 2022/23.

Pass completion list (%)

  • Victor Lindelof (Manchester United) – 93.1%
  • Manuel Akanji (Man City) – 93%
  • John Stones (Man City) – 93%
