talkSPORT duo urge Manchester United to disregard Serie A goalscorer

Two experts of the highest order, which is something I say loosely, claim Manchester United should avoid signing Victor Osimhen this summer because he is “not proven” in the Premier League.

That is the view of talkSPORT duo Gabriel Agbonlahor and Jamie O’Hara, who believe United should be trying to sign Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane instead.

While we agree, I can’t help but find it hilarious that these two are knocking such an incredible prospect like Osimhen, who has done more this season than they managed throughout their playing careers.

During a debate a talkSPORT, a presenter said he would prefer to see Osimhen come to United – over Kane.

Agbonlahor remarked: “He is not Premier League proven is he?”

This was when O’Hara added some key insight for talkSPORT’s listeners who live under a rock: “He’s not played in the Premier League.”

For our readers unaware with Osimhen’s statistics this season, the Nigerian scored 30 goals in 38 appearances for Napoli – helping win their first Serie A title in 33 years.

Radio comes across so lazy when you can tell the presenters on the show haven’t done their home work.

I’d also prefer Kane over Osimhen, but to disregard players because they haven’t played in the Premier League is ridiculous.
