Harry Kane willing to run down Tottenham contract if he doesn’t get Manchester United move

The latest line coming out from the Harry Kane saga stresses that he is set to stay at Tottenham Hotspur unless he can secure a transfer to Manchester United.

According to The Sun, the 29-year-old has no intention of moving abroad while he closes in on Alan Shearer’s Premier League goal tally record (260).

The report also states that Kane wants to join United or he will run down his deal.

With just 12 months left on Kane’s current deal, he could potentially join United on a free next year – but that’s too late because Erik ten hag needs more goals next season.

It is understand that in an ideal world Tottenham would cash in on Kane if a foreign club came in with an offer. The only other club that comes to mind is Bayern Munich, but the England captain doesn’t watch to move his family to Germany to play in the Bundesliga.

That makes Manchester United his only viable option because is not going to join Arsenal or Chelsea and risk his reputation with Tottenham fans.

That could mean we would have to pay £120m for Kane’s signature this summer and I don’t know where that money is going to come from.
