Daniel Levy expected to stubbornly rebuff Manchester United’s Harry Kane pursuit

Harry Kane has been strongly linked with a move away from Tottenham Hotspur this summer and it’s no secret that he is one of Manchester United’s top targets.

The latest update from The Mirror will come as a blow to Manchester United and fans hoping to see the club sign Harry Kane because Tottenham are determined to resist our attempts to sign their captain.

Daniel Levy is stubbornly refusing to allow Kane join another Premier League club this summer, but he also runs the risk of letting the striker leave on a free in 12-months time.

Why not cash in now?

It is understood that Ten Hag has made Kane a top striker target as United look to solve the goalscoring burden that hangs on Marcus Rashford, who won the club’s Player of the Year award tonight after scoring 30 goals throughout the 2022-23 (hopefully more in the final on Saturday!).

John Cross from The Mirror reporters: “Tottenham will certainly not give up on keeping Kane beyond his current deal as they believe his loyalty plus also the incentive of closing in on the Premier League goals record – he is now just 47 behind Alan Shearer’s 260 – could persuade him to stay even longer.”

Kane could even an even bigger contract at a new club if he wants to become a free agent, which is something to keep in mind.

That wouldn’t be good news for United because we want Kane for next season. No later than this summer!

Does he really want another trophyless season at Tottenham Hotspur?

Now is the best time for Kane for force a move away from the club and show how much he wants to be recognised as a winner.
