Erik ten Hag is seemingly keeping the faith in Anthony Martial despite his ongoing injury issues.
Martial has missed the majority of the season so far through numerous injury issues, leaving the club to rely almost solely on loanee Wout Weghorst to lead the line.
However, it’s left-winger Marcus Rashford that has provided the goals as he currently sits on 29 for the campaign in all competitions. Whilst it’s refreshing to see the academy graduate excel and find his prolific form, there is a dire need for an out-and-out striker in United’s setup that can be fit and firing week in, week out.
When quizzed on the prospect of Martial being sold in the forthcoming transfer window, which reports have suggested over the past weeks, Ten Hag was quick to brush off the idea.

He said (via Football Daily): “No [we won’t look to get rid in the summer]. If you are not available you can’t score, when he was available, we played better. [When] this team is winning games, he is also scoring goals then, but he has to be available.”
