Manchester United pair return to training ahead of trip to Bournemouth

Erik ten Hag could have Marcus Rashford available when Manchester United take on Bournemouth.

Manchester United duo Marcus Rashford and Scott McTominay both returned to training ahead of Saturday’s trip to Bournemouth, as per the Manchester Evening News.

The Reds were without Rashford for the 2-0 win over Wolves at the weekend, while McTominay has been out of action since April 8.

Furthermore, the MEN claim Raphael Varane was also part of the training group. The French centre-back was replaced by Harry Maguire as a precaution late on against Wolves.

Erik ten Hag is expected to give an update on his squad later this week. Until then, we can’t guarantee that this means Rashford will be ready for the weekend, but it certainly looks promising.

Rashford has scored 29 goals in all competitions this season and he will be determined to add to that tally in the remaining games.

Plus, it would be a big blow to go into these important fixtures without our top scorer.
