Gary Lineker was impressed by Amad Diallo’s performance for Sunderland against Luton Town.
The Match of the Day presenter praised the Manchester United loanee after his performance in Sunderland’s 2-1 win over Luton Town in the Championship play-off semi-final first leg.
Luton took the lead after 11 minutes when Elijah Adebayo scored from a rebound, but Amad Diallo equalised before the break with a superb curling effort into the top corner.
Sunderland eventually took the lead in the 75th minute when Trai Hume headed home, but Tony Mowbray’s side have more work to do on Tuesday night when they travel to Kenilworth Road for the second leg.
However, the only thing we care about when it comes to Sunderland is Amad’s development this season. He now has 14 goals and four assists since his loan move to the Championship.
The winger’s stunning goal against Luton did not go unnoticed by Gary Lineker, who took to social media to react to the outstanding finish.
