Amad Diallo is continuing to win the Sunderland faithful over after a stunning season with the Black Cats. The young Ivorian has enjoyed his breakthrough campaign in the Championship, helping his side into the play-off semi-finals.
Sunderland secured a place in the play-offs after a highly dramatic final day in the Championship, with Amad ending the season as the club’s top goalscorer with 13 goals. He has now scored his 14th of the season in what will be his final home game at the Stadium of Light for now.
Luton Town took an early lead in the first leg of the semi-final tie but just minutes before half-time, Amad came up with the goods as he planted a beautiful curler into the far corner, as seen below.

Sunderland are looking to secure back-to-back promotions and return to the top flight for the first time since 2017 and Tony Mowbray’s men will be relying on Amad.
The former Atalanta youngster is increasingly likely to be offered more first-team minutes at United next season and if he keeps this up, Ten Hag will struggle to keep him out.
