Manchester United and Barcelona have been linked with a move for AS Monaco right-back Vanderson.

It is believed that both clubs will be in the market for a new right-back. Erik ten Hag has watched Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka improve, but the manager will demand higher standards next season.

Barcelona have been linked with Dalot in recent months but he’s least likely to leave out of our two right-backs.

Vanderson, 21, has shown great promise after arriving in Monaco in January 2022 from Gremio.

According to Sport (H/t Sport Witness), United are in the running to sign Vanderson, whereas Barcelona will need to find the funds to conduct such a deal.

Furthermore, the report adds that Monaco are willing to sell the Brazilian.

The biggest difference Vanderson would make in comparison to Dalot and Wan-Bissaka is that he is more in the style of a wing-back.
