The deadline for a third round of bidding passed last Friday for Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani and Sir Jim Ratcliffe. Both parties are waiting on a decision from the Glazer family.
According to Sky Sports News, Sheikh Jassim is still waiting to hear back from Raine Group, who are advising the Glazer family to sell all or part of Manchester United.
We can only assume it’s the same story for Ratcliffe, but Sky Sports seem more focused on Qatar…
Erik ten Hag must be getting annoyed at the fact he is unable to plan for the summer ahead as he remains unaware of how much money he will have to spend in the transfer market.
The Glazers didn’t back him in January and we can only imagine how our season would have went if they did.
That will depend on whether we have new owners or not – and whatever plans they have for the club.
Sky Sports repeat Sheikh Jassim’s focus is on buying United but they add he doesn’t have any transfer targets if his bid is accepted.
