Harry Kane could stay at Tottenham Hotspur until his current contract expires at the end of next season.

That is according to The Telegraph, who claim the Spurs’ captain is ‘considering all his options’ ahead of what will be an important summer for Kane’s career.

It is no secret that United would sign Kane if the player was willing to push for a move. The Reds are in desperate need of an elite-level goalscorer and there are not many of those out there.

With just 12 months remaining on Kane’s deal, and thus far failing to agree new terms, next season could be the England international’s final campaign at Tottenham.

Kane is fully aware that Daniel Levy is a tough negotiator, so that may be one of his reasons for sticking around. He won’t want to go public with a second failed quest to leave the club.

A move to United has been heavily speculated and I think most of you are aware that I would take Kane in the morning.
