Manchester United announce protest latest anti-Glazer protest before Aston Villa visit

Manchester United will protest against the Glazers’ ownership of the club once again this weekend.

Prior to Aston Villa’s visit to Old Trafford, The 1958 are planning an anti-Glazer protest, which is a continuation of the group’s fight against the American owners.

There has been regular protests this season against United’s owners, although the latest update on Sir Jim Ratcliffe states that he would allow Joel & Avram Glazer remain as stakeholders of the club.

Meanwhile, it is understood that Qatari Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani wants to buyout the Glazers and own 100% of the club.

United fans have been asked to join the protest, which begins at The Old Nags Head in the city centre and eventually ends at Old Trafford. There is also plans to boycott the game for the first 18 minutes. That’s one minute for each year the Glazers have driven our club into the ground’.

With a Friday deadline for the final bids to buy Manchester United, this protest comes a day later, meaning it’s a good time to give them one last push out of the club.

It’s also a good opportunity to head into town early for breakfast!

Ultimately, we want a full sale of our football club. Make no mistake about that. No partial scheme that allows the Glazers to stay after all the damage they’ve caused.
