Moises Caicedo makes transfer plea before Brighton’s FA Cup semi-final vs Manchester United

Moises Caicedo sounds desperate to leave Brighton.

Brighton take on United in a Wembley semi-final on Sunday, but Manchester United target Moises Caicedo sounds more focused on a potential move away from the Seagulls.

The Ecuador international, 21, says his “biggest dream” is to join Real Madrid after enjoying an incredible breakthrough at Brighton.

Caicedo’s performances have caught the attention of several clubs, with Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal all showing an interest in him. It is believed that Arsenal had a bid rejected by Brighton at the end of the January transfer window.

Speaking to Carrusel Deportivo, he said (via The Mirror): “I like Real Madrid. It has always been my dream to play for Real Madrid.

“I’m doing things very well now, so why now join Real Madrid one day and win the Champions League? That is my biggest dream.”

It shows Caicedo are being a self-centred individual more than anything.
