Manchester United one of three Premier League clubs set for talks over Ryan Gravenberch

Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch faces an uncertain future.

The 20-year-old previously played under Erik ten Hag at Ajax and was one of the players the manager was tipped with wanting to bring with him to Old Trafford, however, a decision was already made for him to move to Bavaria last year.

Gravenberch has only started one Bundesliga match since then, and with the former Ajax midfielder desperate for more game time, this summer could see him push for a move away from the Allianz Arena.

With four years left on his current deal at Bayern, Gravenberch’s representatives are reportedly set to meet with three Premier League clubs to hold talks about the possibility of a transfer to England.

That’s according to Foot Mercato’s French football expert Santi Aouna, who claims the  Netherlands international’s entourage are scheduled to meet with Manchester United, Liverpool and Premier League leaders Arsenal.

Gravenberch has managed 11 appearances for the Dutch national team, but he will lose his place in the that team too if he doesn’t sort out of his playing time at Bayern.

Could Gravenberch make a similar move to Marcel Sabitzer in the summer? Only time will tell.

Meanwhile, a report from the Mirror claims the midfield ace has snubbed a reunion with Ten Hag after informing Liverpool he would be ‘open’ to joining them.

The report states Liverpool have made a major step in discussing personal terms with the player’s representatives.

Why on earth would Gravenberch prioritise a move to a club that won’t be playing in the Champions League? That part beggars belief.
