Manchester United willing to swap Victor Lindelof for Juventus midfielder

Manchester United are working on a potential swap deal with Juventus.

Italian outlet Calciomercato claims United are ‘setting up’ a swap deal with the Serie A giants that would see Victor Lindelof move to Turin, while Denis Zakaria goes the opposite way.

The Switzerland international, who is currently on loan at Chelsea, is believed to be on United’s radar.

Lindelof could be used as an asset to persuade Juventus to do a deal.

Zakaria has not made a great impression during his time at Chelsea this season and I am not sure he would be enough of an improvement on Fred.

The 26-year-old joined Juve in January 2022 from Borussia Monchengladbach. He has made just 10 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea, scoring one goal.

Meanwhile, Lindelof could look for a move in the summer after falling down the pecking order at Old Trafford.

The Sweden captain will have no shortage of suitors at the end of the season.
