Manchester United duo walk suspension tightrope against Sevilla

Casemiro is set to return to Manchester United’s team this week when the Reds take on Sevilla in the Europa League.

The Brazilian midfielder could make his first appearance for the club since receiving a four-match ban in domestic competitions, which came to an end on Saturday.

Casemiro will be walking another suspension tightrope because a booking would rule him out of the second leg of the Europa League quarter-final tie.

That means he will need to be on his best behaviour.

However, the same applies to Bruno Fernandes and it would be a huge blow to miss both key players for the return leg in Seville.

Casemiro has missed eight matches through suspension so far this season. Erik ten Hag and co will be hoping for better officiating between now and the end of the season.

The ultimate objective on Thursday night is to give ourselves an advantage ahead of the second leg.
