Manchester United take on Newcastle at St James’ Park this afternoon and Erik ten Hag has named his starting eleven ahead of the game.
David de Gea gets the nod between the posts and will be aiming to record three cleans sheets in as many games against Newcastle this season.
There’s no real surprise in defence other than Diogo Dalot getting the nod at right-back. The Portuguese full-back struggled against Allan Saint-Maximin in the first half of the Carabao Cup final and was replaced by Aaron-Wan-Bissaka. He starts in a back four consisting of Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez and Luke Shaw.
Scott McTominay and Marcel Sabitzer start in midfield, while Bruno Fernandes will be tasked with pulling the strings in the final third.
