Fabrizio Romano claims all top clubs want Manchester United striker target

Elite-level strikers are hard to find. That’s why Manchester United will face competition for whoever they intend to prioritise this summer.

Will it be Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane or Napoli’s Victor Osimhen? We don’t know yet but that has not put a stop to the constant speculation that surrounds the club and transfers.

Chelsea have now emerged as one of the clubs eyeing the potential transfer of Nigeria international Osimhen, along with United and Paris Saint-Germain.

The Nigerian has scored 25 goals for Napoli so far this season and that has led him to being linked with an array of top clubs throughout Europe. These clubs face a few obstacles if they are to persist with Napoli because Osimhen won’t be leaving on the cheap.

According to Caught Offside, as per Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea’s imminent arrival of Christopher Nkunku won’t change their plans to bring in another top attacking player.

That player could be Osimhen and Romano adds that United and PSG are admirers of the 24-year-old.

“I think it’s not new that Chelsea are looking for a striker, this was very clear and remains a priority. The arrival of Christopher Nkunku has not changed Chelsea’s plans to add another signing up front,” Romano said.

“As for Victor Osimhen, all the top clubs are interested in him after his outstanding season with Napoli. Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea…they are all following the situation.”

With United monitoring Osimhen’s situation at Napoli, let us know in the comments section if you think this is a sign he will be prioritised this summer? I could totally get behind a big pursuit of Kane but we won’t be signing both players.
