Manchester United trio shortlisted for March POTM award

Three Manchester United players are up for the Player of the Month award for March.

Bruno Fernandes, Lisandro Martinez and Marcus Rashford are the nominees, and you can have your own say by voting on the official Manchester United website.

While you could make an argument for all three players to pick up the award in March, it’s worth noting that Rashford has won it already in December, January and February.

A fourth consecutive POTM award would be an incredible achievement, and I think Rashford has done enough to enter the conversation for Player of the Year, too. He scored in two of the six games across the past month, both coming against Real Betis.

Fernandes had a slightly better month in front of goal. He scored a header in the Europa League clash with Real Betis at Old Trafford and was man of the match after netting a brace against Fulham in the FA Cup.

Meanwhile, at the back, Martinez has continued to be a force to be reckoned with. I hate to think of what we’d do without him at any stage between now and the end of the season.

Let us know in the comments section who you think deserves the award.
