Talks ongoing over Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s international career

Aaron Wan-Bissaka could end up representing the Democratic Republic of the Congo at international level.

The Manchester United right-back has yet to make a senior international appearance in his career, although Wan-Bissaka has represented DR Congo and England at youth level.

According to the LeopardLeader, talks have been held between DR Congo manager Sebastien Desabre and Wan-Bissaka’s family.

This would be a good move for Wan-Bissaka to kick on his career because whenever he looks around the United dressing room all he can see is international stars.

At the same time, at least he’s getting a rest during this international break because it will be a hectic end to the season for Erik ten Hag’s squad.

Wan-Bissaka never got the call from Gareth Southgate and may feel he never will. The right-back has grown into the team this season when many doubted him at the very beginning, however, it remains to be seen if he has a future at Old Trafford beyond this season.

It would be great to see him gain a bit of international experience, though. All depending on whether he can be persuaded by the DR Congo boss.
