Marcus Rashford makes Premier League history after securing monthly award double

Marcus Rashford has been named both Manchester United’s and the Premier League’s Player of the Month for the second consecutive month.

Rashford’s scintillating form has been recognised yet again by picking up both awards back-to-back.

The 25-year-old has etched his name in Premier League history by levelling the number of POTM awards won in a single campaign (3) and is now tied with Mohamed Salah – a record he will be keen to overtake by the end of the season.

Rashford’s form in February

Across February, Rashford played four league matches, picking up three wins and scoring five goals. United sit in third place in the league table and are keeping the pressure on the top two, Arsenal and Manchester City.

In all competitions, the forward has continued to flourish and rounded off the month by lifting the Carabao Cup at Wembley after scoring the winning goal in the final.

He is currently on 26 goals and nine assists, making him a fierce contender for the club’s Player of the Season.
