Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold has hailed the quality of Manchester United ahead of their trip to Anfield on Sunday, March 5.
Based on form, United have performed significantly better than their rivals this season, but that could all go out the window when the Red Devils step out at Anfield this weekend.
Erik ten Hag’s side are 10 points above Liverpool and can complete a league double if they secure a win, as well as dampen their top-four hopes.
Alexander-Arnold progressed through his club’s academy before progressing to the senior setup, and he has since been pivotal to Liverpool’s successes in recent years.
Speaking via Football Daily, he weighed in on the upcoming clash.
“The games are never easy when you come up against United. United vs Liverpool is always a tough fixture and they’ve always got a good team and good players.”
