Just days after winning the Carabao Cup, which was Manchester United’s first trophy since winning the Europa League in 2017, the Reds are now aiming to make it into the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

Erik ten Hag has made a number of changes from the side that comfortably secured the win at Wembley over Newcastle United, with as many as six players coming into the side.

Casemiro, who opened the scoring against the Magpies, has been given a well-deserved rest but there is no time off for stand-in captain Bruno Fernandes, who starts yet again.

Red-hot Marcus Rashford is also left out, with Alejandro Garnacho starting in his place. David de Gea gets the nod over Tom Heaton and Jack Butland, with Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof playing at centre-back.

Marcel Sabitzer starts after making appearances from the bench in the last two games and interestingly, Wout Weghorst continues his record of starting in every single competitive game since joining the club in January.

In the event that United would inflict defeat on under-pressure David Moyes tonight, Ten Hag would be just one game away from securing another trip to Wembley for the semi-finals of this tournament.

West Ham have already visited the Theatre of Dreams on one occasion this season, with Rashford’s stunning header ensuring three points in the Premier League.

Confirmed Manchester United line-up (4-2-3-1): De Gea; Dalot, Maguire, Lindelof, Malacia; McTominay, Sabitzer; Antony, Fernandes, Garnacho; Weghorst
