Manchester United’s first-team squad and Erik ten Hag gathered at Carrington to celebrate Casemiro’s FIFPro Best XI award.
The Brazilian was included in the FIFA FIFPro Men’s World XI, which is voted for by players.
Casemiro made the 26-man shortlist earlier this month alongside seven other midfielders. It was confirmed yesterday that he had been named in the final 11, with Kevin De Bruyne and his former Real Madrid teammate Luka Modric also making the squad.

Prior to making the switch to United, Casemiro lifted the Champions League for the fifth time last summer, as well as the La Liga, Supercopa de Espana and UEFA Super Cup – another exceptional campaign for the 31-year-old.

He has since been pivotal to the resurgence happening at Old Trafford and is one of the main catalysts in the drastic turnaround under Erik ten Hag.
