Man UTD plotting to sign 6ft 5in goal-machine, he’s already agreed summer move

Manchester United are still on the hunt for a long-term option to lead the line for Erik ten Hag, with Wout Weghorst brought in on a short-term loan in January to ease the burden on Anthony Martial, who is enduring a neverending battle with injuries.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s controversial departure last year left United short in that department and rumours are already gathering pace ahead of a potentially crucial summer.

United spent big last summer but a striker was not signed. By the sounds of the latest reports, they have already set their eyes on one of Europe’s hottest prospects.

That’s according to Football Insider, who say that United are plotting to sign RB Salzburg star Benjamin Sesko, who has already signed a deal to join RB Leipzig at the end of this season.

It’s claimed that despite Sesko’s commitment to joining another club, a bid could still mean that Sesko ends up elsewhere and not in the Bundesliga.

As per the report, Weghorst is not viewed as a long-term option and only as a short-term solution as United desperately scoured the market for a striker.

  1. I would keep weghorst and get rid of martial.

united need 2 strikers and martial is always injured so weghorst is a better option. he also presses well and has had a few decent performances.

what united really need is antony/sancho to start scoring more from the wings. bruno too tbf.

    1. I’d keep them both and sign another 2! You need at least 3 or 4 options. Main 1 or 2 then sick not tony and wout 3/4th choice

  2. I think keep Weghorst will be ideal, just get rid of martial cause he’s always injured. Weghorst just needed more time and more training on goal post I guess!

  3. I think we need a natural 9,with martial it’s very complicated, when is not injured he can’t play 90 minutes in good form, he don’t have pressure like weighourst

  4. I think weghorst is the best striker for manu. His a best striker. Don’t forget he did last minutes two goals aganist Argentina wc2022.

  5. Weighorst is better than than Martial, he presses so much unlike Martial who would wait for passes and walks after losing a ball

  6. Weghors should be kept and let Martial leave. Weighorst presses much when he losses thr ball unlike Martial eho would walk after opponent

  7. Weghorst will be waste of resources once he’s signed for Man United. He does nothing but run round the field and he has no pace that Man United plates do. Very slow in playing ball and he’s not careful when with ball, he loses ball easily to opponents.
I don’t see him perform well in Manchester United.

Both Weghorst and Martial should leave please.

  9. I think we need better striker that can distribute our opponent so that we can put pressure on them

    1. I think so… But I Really like weghorst way of playing but I think Oshime will be much more better

  10. I don’t think weghorst can make united a title challenger while your rivars have , Jesus, Sarah,Kane ,Joao Felix , haaland even wolves have gimenez …… We need a deadly striker to challenge for titles like Kane or osimhen up front not weghorst

  11. If Manchester United can cough out the money for Osimehn, I think he would be a better buy than Sesko

  12. Cockney Red here.. Weggy’s needed, Martial isn’t 😁 Can’t see anyone wanting him, tho. He’s on massive £££ and can’t stay fit. Let his contract run down then show him the door.
