Sunderland were left disappointed on Saturday afternoon, losing 2-1 to Coventry City at the Coventry Building Society Arena – but at least Manchester United loanee Amad Diallo got on the scoresheet to pull one back for the Black Cats in stoppage time.
The defeat was sealed on in stoppage time but there was still time for a response in the dying embers as Amad, who has been in outstanding form this season, curled an excelled shot past Ben Wilson to make it 2-1.

This result will put a dent in Sunderland’s plans to finish in a play-off spot this season, but Tony Mowbray will believe they can push on again next season if they miss out this time around.
It will be a struggle without Amad!
They look for redemption next week against Stoke City.
