Man United confirmed lineup vs Barcelona: One change, Martinez in for Malacia

Manchester United and Barcelona will play for the chance to reach the Europa League’s Round of Last 16.

The Red Devils are preparing to welcome Xavi’s Barcelona to Old Trafford for a blockbuster European clash with the winner set to progress to the competition’s next knockout phase.

Ending in a 2-2 draw, last week’s enthralling encounter at the Nou Camp has set up a finely poised second leg and the stakes couldn’t be higher.

Erik Ten Hag’s side come into tonight’s game with a narrow advantage having already registered two away goals.

For Barcelona, they will know that anything less than a win or a high-scoring draw will see them crash out of Europe’s second tier – something they will definitely want to avoid having already been knocked out of the Champions League at the group stage.

Ahead of the exciting clash in Manchester, Ten Hag has named his starting 11.

The Dutchman has opted to make just one change with Tyrell Malacia making way for Lisandro Martinez with Luke Shaw moving from centre-back to his more natural left-back position.

Last weekend’s scorers against Leicester City Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford will once again form part of a front-three with Wout Weghorst operating as a lead striker.
