(Video) Bruno Fernandes names Man United player who can ‘change the game’

Manchester United are preparing for the biggest week of their season so far as they welcome Barcelona to Old Trafford on Thursday evening before making the trip to face Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley later this week.

United’s final warm-up game before taking Barcelona, a comprehensive 3-0 win, was the perfect day for Erik ten Hag’s men and Bruno Fernandes was one of the stars that day.

Marcus Rashford did, however, steal all of the headlines as the 25-year-old scored another two goals to take his tally for the season to 24.

Speaking ahead of the visit of Barcelona, Fernandes has become the latest player to sing Rashford’s praises, claiming the in-form winger has what it takes to ‘change the game’.

“Confidence,” Fernandes told BT Sport Football when asked what the biggest change in his team-mate has been, as seen above.

“Marcus with confidence, it’s unstoppable at the moment, it is someone who can change the game.”

Fernandes is expected to wear the armband once more later this evening when the two teams make their way onto the pitch, with the Portuguese magnifico growing into one of Ten Hag’s most important players.

Rashford also falls into that category but the manager will be worried about his winger’s contract situation. As things stand, Rashford will be a free agent at the end of next season.
