(Video) Marcus Rashford opens the scoring against Leicester City with powerful strike

It’s been a tough 25 minutes for Erik ten Hag’s side but Manchester United now hold the lead.

Marcus Rashford moves to 23 goals for the season with his opening goal against Leicester City at Old Trafford. That’s 15 goals in 17 appearances since the World Cup and I think that explains why Erik ten Hag is playing him up front.

It goes without saying that we would be in trouble if it wasn’t for Rashford. Leicester City had created the best chances up until this point, but it’s United who take the lead after 24 minutes of play.

You knew as he ran clear on goal that he was going to find the back of the net and that’s exactly what he did.

Rashford made no mistake with his powerful strike.

There is no stopping Rashford at the moment and I wouldn’t bet against him scoring a second goal in this game.

Hopefully we can score again before half-time.
