Amad Diallo shares supportive message after major earthquakes in Turkey and Syria

The world is mourning after the devastating earthquakes that have killed over 2,000 people in Turkey and Syria.

Manchester United winger Amad Diallo, currently on load at Sunderland, has shared a tribute message to those impacted by the two large earthquakes.

Amad, 20, took to Twitter to write a short message which read: “A thought to Turkey and Syria. May Allah protect you.”

The Ivory Coast international has been a big hit at Sunderland this season after arriving on loan just before the summer transfer window shut.

After breaking into Tony Mowbray’s side, Amad quickly became a key player for the Black Cats.

Louis Saha backs Amad to impress after United return

Amad is wisely expected to return to Old Trafford at the end of the season and will hope to force his way into Erik ten Hag’s plans for the forthcoming season.

Saha believes the progress made by Alejandro Garnacho should encourage Amad to follow in the same path.

Speaking to The Games Cabin, Saha said (via Sunderland Echo): “He’s got a better chance of improving and developing at Manchester United now than he would have before.

“The development of Rashford can reassure young players out on loan that the dynamic of the club is different under Erik ten Hag. The attacking players now play a style of football that suits them because previously under other coaches, the style was a bit too defensive-minded.

“The form Diallo has been in can allow him to come back to Manchester United with a goal to succeed like Alejandro Garnacho has. If Garnacho can do it, then why can’t Diallo?”

  1. Unfortunately, the previous United manager had no clue how to develop this young man. The ability was always there, just hope ETH can continue with the progress Amad has made in the new season.
