Anthony Elanga has been linked with a move away from Manchester United.
The Daily Star ran a report earlier this week suggested Manchester United had blocked Everton’s bid to sign Elanga on loan due to their concerns over the climate at Goodison Park.
It’s a good point raised by United, if true. Everton don’t look very settled right now — sitting 19th in the Premier League table — and I don’t see how any United player would benefit from going there on loan for the remainder of the season. The morale within Erik ten Hag’s squad is good and he will want to ensure his loanees get valuable moves if they are to go elsewhere.
Another club linked with Elanga is Borussia Dortmund. Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano claims Borussia Dortmund have explored the conditions of a loan deal to sign the Sweden international.

Romano later added that Elanga’s priority would be to join the Bundesliga club, but that the decision was over to United.
However, Sky Germany reports that Dortmund are not pursuing a loan deal for Elanga, as per Florian Plettenberg.

Elanga has started just seven of his 18 outings for United this season.
