Celtic holding out for Manchester United to bid for Josip Juranovic

Celtic are reportedly holding fire on offers for right-back Josip Juanovic to see if they can attract any interest from the Premier League.

The former Legia Warsaw defender became one of the most talked about players at the World Cup in Qatar due to his impressive performances for Croatia.

Reports linked Juanovic to an array of clubs as a result.

Despite interest from clubs in Italy, as per the Daily Record, Celtic are holding out to see if offers come from Manchester United.

The report stresses that any move for Juaranovic would be subject to Aaron Wan-Bissaka moving on this month.

Celtic aren’t under any pressure to sell in January because the right-back is contracted to the club until 2026. That means they could wait until the summer and keep Juranovic for the remainder of the season.

Juranovic would be a good back-up option for Diogo Dalot, although the defensive aspect of his game can be a concern at times.

Now I must ask who am I to question Erik ten Hag’s judgement?
