(Video) Marcus Rashford seals Carabao Cup win with lovely chipped finish

Manchester United have secured their place in the Carabao Cup semi-final as they somewhat comfortably dispatched League One outfit Charlton Athletic at Old Trafford.

Erik ten Hag named a much-changed starting eleven for the visit of Charlton, with several fringe players given the opportunity to impress ahead of a busy schedule.

Antony, who has left many supporters wanting more so far this season, scored in the first half to give United a deserved lead. The Brazil international has now scored in back-to-back games and five times in his ten starts since joining from Ajax.

Charlton improved after the break but Marcus Rashford was brought on with roughly an hour to go and as per usual this season, it was the 25-year-old who would ease any fears United had, as seen below.

Facundo Pellistri, who had only come on minutes earlier, drove forward and instead of choosing the easy pass to the overlapping Scott McTominay, the Uruguayan kept his composure and found Rashford.

Rashford got the ball out of his feet and produced a cool, chipped finish to continue his electric goalscoring form.
