Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag believes Marcus Rashford could score 20 Premier League goals this season.
Marcus Rashford is getting back to his best form in a Manchester United shirt this season. He replicated that at the World Cup in a bit part role for England, and Ten Hag believes he can hit over 20 goals in the Premier League.
The 25-year-old has registered 9 goals for United this season but only four of those have come in the Premier League. With a home clash against Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford tonight, Rashford will be aiming to add to his tally after scoring a wonderful goal against Burnley in the League Cup.
As a player who lost his place in the team last season under Ralf Rangnick, Rashford has turned things around by starting in all 14 league matches to date, so it is no secret that Ten Hag has full trust in the England international.

“I don’t want to pin myself to a number,” Ten Hag told reporters, as per the Manchester Evening News. “I said from the start, I said it from one of the first days Rashy is capable of scoring 20 goals in the Premier League only. So I’m convinced about that.
“He now has four but he scored many other goals. He scored three at the World Cup, so then he has the potential to score those numbers of goals in the Premier League.”
January is set to be a crucial month for United and it would be beneficial if Rashford can continue his goalscoring form.
