Manchester United’s Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez embraced in the World Cup final trophy presentation.
The pair have made all United fans proud throughout the tournament and even more so cemented their status as world-class centre-backs.
Varane started six out of the seven matches played, whilst Martinez made five appearances – two as a starter and three as a substitute.
After a tightly contested and tantalising final in which Argentina were crowned champions, the two Reds had to show their respect to one another as Varane headed up to the podium to receive his runners-up medal.
