Manchester United’s 2023/2024 home shirt will feature a centred crest

Manchester United’s 2023/2024 home shirt will feature a central crest.

It was announced earlier this week that the club’s front-of-shirt sponsor, Team Viewer, had mutually agreed to terminate their contract with United. The logo will remain on shirts until a new sponsor is found.

Now, Footy Headlines has leaked that next season’s shirt will have both the badge and Adidas logo displayed front and centre. They also released a mock-up of how the shirt could look.

It is only the second time that the Red Devils have donned such a design, with the first being in the 1996/1997 campaign when partnered with Umbro.

In 2004-2006, home shirts had just the club’s crest in the centre, as opposed to the crest and brand logo.

Stretty News’ verdict

Change is good and the new design has the potential to be iconic, like so many other United strips in history. Team Viewer also posed to be a bit of an eye sore, so hopefully, the new sponsor is more visually pleasing and fitting to the strip.
