Real Madrid register interest in signing Manchester United starlet Alejandro Garnacho

While Manchester United try to agree a new contract with Alejandro Garnacho, Real Madrid are reportedly lurking in the background.

According to Spanish outlet Relevo, Real Madrid are interested in signing Manchester United starlet Alejandro Garnacho.

It is clear from these reports that the Spanish giants are looking to build for the future after beginning a transfer pursuit to sign Brazilian wonderkid Endrick, who is being linked with a host of European clubs, including United.

Garnacho is obviously a name that will pop up on Real Madrid’s radar (if not now, it’s only a matter of time when they do), but United need to do everything they can to keep him at the club for the foreseeable future.

The 18-year-old has a bright future after breaking into the first-team under Erik ten Hag this season. He has two goals and two assists in his 292 minutes on the pitch.

Furthermore, a move to Real Madrid wouldn’t go down well at Atletico Madrid, where Garnacho spent many years developing as an academy player.

My advice to Garnacho would be to remain at Manchester United. Ten Hag is giving him minutes in the first team and I don’t think he can ask for anything more than that this season.

It could be the start of an exciting chapter at Old Trafford for Garnacho. Let’s get that contract signed and sealed!
