The first of Manchester United’s two winter friendlies kicks off tonight as we take on La Liga side, Cadiz CF, at the Nuevo Mirandilla stadium.
Manchester United were last in action against Fulham in the Premier League last month ahead of the break for the World Cup began. This week’s warm-weather training camp in Spain should help the team prepare for the return of domestic action, when United face Burnley in the League Cup.
Erik ten Hag doesn’t have a full squad available to him because 11 players are still involved at the World Cup in Qatar. Furthermore he is giving a chance to players that we haven’t seen play a lot this season, such as Martin Dubravka, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Brandon Willians and Donny van de Beek.

Tonight’s opponents are struggling in La Liga and were knocked out of the Copa del Rey in their last outing.
United will switch their attention to Saturday’s opponents Real Betis after tonight’s game before they return to Old Trafford.
