Rashford, Shaw and Maguire book place in World Cup quarter-finals with England

Three Reds will be representing England in their World Cup quarter-final tie against France next Saturday, December 10.

The trio of Three Lions, Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw and Marcus Rashford, will also come up against fellow United teammate Raphael Varane, who saw out a 3-1 victory against Poland this afternoon.

England then dominated their Round of 16 clash with Senegal and netted three goals to book their place in the quarter-finals of the tournament.

The fixture will be a mouth-watering clash with the pitch full of world-class stars from across Europe. The likes of Kylian Mbappe and Olivier Giroud are in outstanding form in Qatar, whilst England possesses goalscorers in almost every attacking position and can name a substitutes bench that is equally as strong as the starting 11.

Rashford will be keen to add to his three goals, whilst the two Reds in defence have picked up three consecutive clean sheets.

Today, Varane produced a crucial goal-line clearance to ensure the score stayed level in the first half before France’s ever-threatening attackers secured the win.
