(Video) Casemiro scores incredible half-volley for Brazil vs Switzerland

Brazil are closing in on six points from their opening two games in this winter’s World Cup and three Manchester United players are involved in Monday’s game against Switzerland.

Tite’s men comfortably won their opening game against Serbia by two goals but were dealt a heavy blow ahead of this game, with star player Neymar ruled out.

In his absence, Fred was handed his first start of the tournament whilst Antony was a second-half substitute. Casemiro, a mainstay in the side, started.

And it was the combative 30-year-old who would find the breakthrough for his nation. With Brazil chasing a winner, the former Real Madrid star stepped up to score an incredible half-volley with roughly eight minutes to play, as seen below.

Casemiro’s spectacular technical number is one of the goals of the tournament so far, made even sweeter by the fact that victory over Switzerland means that Brazil have now secured qualification for the next round.
