Manchester United are preparing for their final Premier League game before the season breaks off for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Having travelled to London to take on Marco Silva’s Fulham, Erik Ten Hag will be desperate to return to domestic winning ways after losing 3-1 against Aston Villa last weekend.
Vying for a place in the league’s top four, following Spurs’ dramatic 4-3 comeback win against Leeds United and Newcastle United’s impressive 1-0 victory over Chelsea yesterday, the Red Devils know all three points on Sunday against the Cottagers is an absolute must.
It won’t be a straightforward task though and Ten Hag will know that he’ll need to guard against complacency.

Following their recent return to England’s top-flight, Fulham, who currently sit in the ninth spot, have proven they’re worthy of their place among the country’s top 20 clubs.
Speaking about the challenges they face, as well as how they’re going to try and win, goalkeeper David De Gea, who spoke to Sky Sports, as quoted by the club’s official website, said: “We’ll try to play our best football, try to win the three points. Fulham are playing really well this season so it’s going to be a tough game but of course, we want to go into the World Cup break with a win.
“First of all, [we will] play our football. Try to press high, try to have the ball, dictate the play and create our chances.”
Sunday’s match is scheduled to kick off at 4.30 p.m (UK time) and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
