Manchester United loanee Amad Diallo scored a brilliant solo goal against Birmingham City on Friday night.

The young Ivorian winger left on loan during the summer because game time would have been limited at United.

United fans watching tonight would have been impressed with his goal after Amad picked up the ball on the wing before cutting inside and curling the ball past Birmingham’s goalkeeper.

The game finished 2-1 in Sunderland’s favour, although Birmingham City had a Manchester United loanee of their own on the pitch, with Hannibal Mejbri making the starting XI.

Mejbri was replaced by former United winger Tahith Chong in the second half.

As for Sunderland, the win sees them sat 12th in the Championship.
