Manchester United will host Vincent Kompany’s Burnley in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
The draw has been made for the fourth round of the EFL Cup.
Manchester United made the fourth round after they secured a 4-2 comeback victory over Aston Villa on Thursday night. Goals from Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes and Scott McTominay sealed the win for Erik ten Hag’s side.
Meanwhile, Burnley secured their spot in round four on Tuesday night with a 3-1 win against Crawley Town. They are currently on top of the Championship after playing 20 matches.
The biggest tie of the round is Manchester City vs Liverpool, which is good news for United because it means another one of the big clubs will be crashing out of the tournament in the next round. That can only be a good thing to increase our chances of winning silverware this season.
