Antony nominated for Premier League goal award after stunning strike vs Man City

Antony’s outstanding finish against Manchester City has been nominated for Premier League’s October Goal of the Month.

In the Brazilian’s second outing for Manchester United, he netted a remarkable goal against derby rivals City.

The goal came after Antony opened his goalscoring account in Manchester by opening the scoring with a similar finish against league leaders Arsenal, which contributed to ending the Gunners’ unbeaten run.

Antony showcased an impressive technique of cutting in from the right of the pitch onto his left foot and curling an unstoppable effort past Ederson.
