(Video) Cristiano Ronaldo scores Man United’s third goal vs FC Sheriff

Manchester United are strolling to victory against Moldovan outfit FC Sheriff at Old Trafford, with Erik ten Hag’s men now confirming their passage to the knockout phase.

United dominated proceedings from the first whistle but did not open the scoring until late in the first half, with Diogo Dalot’s perfect header breaking the deadlock.

Ten Hag made a couple of changes for the second half, with Marcus Rashford replacing Antony as one of them. And it was the Englishman who would double United’s lead, finishing a fantastic team move.

Cristiano Ronaldo had a number of opportunities to score throughout the game and finally, with roughly 10 minutes to go, the 37-year-old would find the net.

Ronaldo met Bruno Fernandes’ cross to force a save from the Sheriff goalkeeper but the Portugal international was quick to react to the rebound, slotting in from close range.
