(Photo) Ronaldo arrives at Carrington ahead of crucial meeting with Ten Hag

Cristiano Ronaldo has had every headline written about him in the past week after he stormed down the Old Trafford tunnel before Manchester United’s match with Tottenham had finished.

It was a bad move and we’ve had every football chat give their opinion on it since, which has been tiresome as someone covering every aspect of the story.

While Ronaldo’s behaviour did not take away from United’s tremendous 2-0 win over Tottenham, it can only be seen as an embarrassing episode for both club and player. Ten Hag has dealt with the situation brilliantly but every second question from the reporters only adds more focus to Ronaldo.

Photographers snapped Ronaldo as he arrived at Carrington this morning.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Ten Hag will hold important talks with the 37-year-old to discuss the player’s future at Old Trafford.

The talks will seek to determine if Ronaldo would be content to stay at Old Trafford in his new reduced role.

Ronaldo needs to be asking himself where he can go next if he leaves United, but I want him to leave regardless because it is time we moved on as a team.

New manager, fresh ideas.
